  Really love this shop.....beautifully stocked with bespoke gorgeous woodworking & many wow pieces for home or gift giving.....a must stop on our every visit to our favourite state

  This place is astounding with so many different craftsman items for sale by Tasmanian artisans.

  Friendly service, however, the sale of the Golliwog dolls are a vile display of a throwback to a racist history. A history of stereotyping and categorising black people, especially those in forced labour.
  
  The store tries to undermine the prejudice these dolls have created towards black people, by providing a blurb above the on-sale dolls, referring to the dolls origin of manufacturing, instead of acknowledging the racial and lower class stereotypes these dolls try enforcing.
  
  The Woodcraft Shop should consider not displaying these dolls that are to many symbolic of taunting the black community of people that were forced into servitude. The Woodcraft Shop should no longer continue their display of these dolls, if not rid of these dolls as a whole.
